Define before building
Clarify the problem, owner, boundary, and evidence before selecting a tool.

FELIX YANG / PROFILE
Applied mathematics, technical building, and enterprise leadership—brought together in one operating profile.
MODELS → SYSTEMS → ORGANIZATIONS → NARRATIVES
Applied Mathematics + Computer Science at UC Davis gives me a formal foundation. Enterprise digitalization tests that foundation against people, responsibility, and real operational constraints.
01 / PRINCIPLES
Clarify the problem, owner, boundary, and evidence before selecting a tool.
Connect data, states, interfaces, verification, and operational feedback.
Efficiency matters, but so do accountability, language, and the people affected.

FELIX YANG / LEARNING
Applied Mathematics and Computer Science shape my studies at UC Davis.
With an unfamiliar technical problem, I start with objects, constraints, and relationships that can be tested.

FELIX YANG / IN THE FIELD
A discussion is a reminder that people must understand and carry a process together.
A system needs clear responsibilities, handoffs, and exceptions to become part of daily work.
03 / OUTSIDE WORK
Outside work and study, I enjoy baseball, climbing, skiing, working out, and baking
See what’s current
Grip, swing, and enjoy a moment focused on movement

Finding speed and balance on the slopes

Finding the next foothold on the climbing wall

Building strength through training

Bringing patience and creativity into the kitchen
04 / Education + Experience
A summer transformation project spanning operating processes, structured business data, internal systems, and the HARVESTFLOW digital brand portfolio.
An interdisciplinary course path spanning algorithms, numerical analysis, probability, computation, and the mathematical foundations behind reliable systems.
Studied financial operations across banking, securities, and fund subsidiaries, then helped turn the analysis into a first-place cohort presentation.
Led weekly technical review sessions in AP Calculus and AP Microeconomics for graduating students.
